Pujas (Offering Ceremonies)


Guru Puja

The Guru Puja (Lama Chöpa) is a practice of making offerings to, and requesting inspiration and guidance from the spiritual teacher in the form of Lama Tsongkhapa, in order to receive blessings and generate realizations on the path to enlightenment. ​​​

Heruka Vajrasattva Tsog

Heruka Vajrasattva Tsog Offering practice entails not just making offerings to Guru Vajrasattva but also reciting his mantra to help remove the impurities of our body, speech and mind. Everyone is welcome to bring an offering, either a monetary offering to help offset the cost of the puja, or food, tea lights, or flowers for the altar.​

​Medicine Buddha Healing Puja

Medicine Buddha is the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings. Prayers to Medicine Buddha are especially powerful because of the extensive prayers they took to benefit sentient beings. They strongly prayed for the temporal and ultimate happiness of all sentient beings; they vowed that their prayers would be actualized during these times. Offerings welcome. ​


Tara Puja 

Tara Puja is an offering practice to Green Tara and the 21 Taras which allows us to generate vast amounts of merit and create the causes for boundless energy and success in our aspiration to benefit others in our daily lives. Offerings welcome.​

Deity Practices

Wealth Giving Practice of Dzambhala

Through the power of compassionate intentions, visualization, mantra recitation as well as a wealth-simulating ritual, this practice ripens and enhances our karma for an abundance of resources.  It is said that when done with single pointed concentration and faith, this ritual will assist in increasing one's financial prosperity.


Green Tara Meditation Practice to Remove Obstacles

A meditation practice of the female deity, Green Tara. Tara is the embodiment of the holy actions of the Buddhas. By practicing Tara meditation you can eliminate inner and outer obstacles to the development of your mind, create much merit, and achieve quick success in attaining enlightenment.


Medicine Buddha Practice

The practice of Medicine Buddha is considered one of the most powerful practices because it is said to create the greatest and quickest blessings.  The practice heals mental, physical, spiritual and environmental afflictions.

Vajrasattva Karma Purification Practice 

Purification is an essential foundational practice in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. All are welcome to sit with us for this powerful Vajrasattva purification practice that acts to eliminate negative karma and the obscurations to progress along the path to happiness and joy in this and future lifetimes and,ultimately, to enlightenment.



Sutra Recitation

Sutras are transformative Mahayana Buddhist scriptures taught by Buddha Shakyamuni in order to make the path to enlightenment as easy as possible to practice and accomplish. Group recitations of certain sutras is particularly powerful for creating causes for World Peace and Environmental Harmony.

Eight Mahayana Vows (Precepts)

These are 8 vows taken for a 24 hour period before dawn on special full moon or new moon days. Taking vows helps us to collect merit and purify negativities in a very short period of time.
