Dharma Friends Care Group

Next Meeting Sunday January 26th 12:30 - 2:00 pm

We have a scheduled short meeting on Sunday January 26th at 12:30 pm in the Gompa. I hope you can attend so that we can talk about the following:

  • What type of events, films, different services and trainings would you find helpful

  • What did you learn and how could it be shared with other DFCG volunteers.

  • We will hopefully be moving into our new center soon, and what dow we need to be more supportive for our friends, i.e., space, short length hospice room, retreats, etc.

  • Who would you like to invite to speak over this next year? Or would you like to repeat some of the invitations and speakers?

  • Geshe La has an interest in events that are social for members who are living alone. I like the compassion in that idea.

  • If you would like to bring some snacks for the group, please do so. I am bringing something....

Explore a variety of texts, teachings and prayers designed to help us care for and help the ill, the dying and the dead.

The books listed here are recommended as particularly good resources, though there are many other books available.
